St. Pete, Florida Amy + Jon planned the most unforgettable day, filled with fun-loving moments + lots of laughs. Overall I loved capturing the day as Amy + Jon’s wedding photographer at The Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida. Can you say NATURAL LIGHT PARADISE?! Their first look was at the reflection pool + let me tell you…OH-EM-GEE. Amy + Jon knocked it out of the park with making their wedding vision come to life! So happy to be a part of it. From the moment I arrived at The Wedding Retreat wedding venue in Plant City, Florida I knew it was going to be a good day ! EVERY SINGLE rustic detail was beautiful. The bride and groom were in such good spirits, and Courtney and Forrest couldn’t stop smiling. I mean, if you were about to have the best day ever, you wouldn’t be able to stop smiling either! Courtney’s bridesmaids had me laughing from the very second I walked inside the bridal sweet and the guys had my second shooter Edwin (@parallaxintellect) getting creative with some groomsmen shots. It was a lot of fun getting to know everyone, and we laughed so freakin much my stomach hurt. Get to know more about these two lovebirds in today’s blog Amy + John's engagement photos in Ft. Desoto Beach, St. Pete Florida were seriously the closest thing to perfection. Let me paint a picture for you (or you can scroll down to see the actual pictures). Gorgeous couple, warm ocean water, a gorgeous sunset, + the cherry on top....their pup Stacy (whose a mix of a sheltie, Pomeranian, husky + white Shepard) THE RECIPE FOR A PERFECT ENGAGEMENT SESSION. Amy had the idea to have us take one car just incase with traffic (if you're a Tampa local...you know.) At first my anxiety was like uh oh I don’t do small talk very well but lately I’m all for stepping out my comfort zone. That forty-five minute drive FLEW by. We got to know each other’s personalities quickly + cracked a ton of jokes. Amy + John also had some great recommendations on places to eat in Tampa for my foodie self. We walked on the beach, lost Stacy's leash, went in the water, climbed rocks (where we may or may have not gotten in trouble for doing) But was 100% worth it for some epic shots! I can’t wait until their wedding next month at The Poynter Institute! |
